School suspension on 19/11, arrangements for online learning and new arrangements for ECA

Date: 18/11/2019

According to the special announcement by Education Bureau made on 18/11/2019 (Monday), since there are still unstable factors affecting the roads and traffic conditions and more time should be given for schools to make good preparation for class resumption, classes of all schools (including kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and special schools) will remain suspended tomorrow (19/11/2019).

During class suspension, our school will keep our premises open and parents may send their children to school under safe condition if needed. Our school will arrange for staff to return to school under safe and feasible conditions to look after students who have arrived at school. We will maintain contact with parents and allow students to return home only under safe conditions.

Parents please remind your children to stay home for revision and download learning materials from our school website (Organisation > E-classroom).
Students should stay away from any dangerous locations which would be worried by both parents and teachers.

Based on the current continuous escalating social activities in the district, for the sake of students’ safety, all on-campus and off campus school activities scheduled inclusively from 18/11/2019 (Monday) to 24/11/2019 (Sunday) will be cancelled. Additionally, inter-secondary schools sports competitions scheduled originally from 19/11/2019 (Tue) to 25/11/2019 (Mon) will be postponed.

“Enhanced Smart Teen Project”(18/11/2019 (Mon) - 22/11/2019 (Fri) ), “Scout Autumn Camping” and “Global Classroom - US and Finland Exchange Programme 2019” (23/11/2019 (Sat) - 30/11/2019 (Sun)) will be cancelled. For those who have registered and paid for the above activities, please pay attention to further arrangement for related details.
